These are just some of the many blogs out there that I turn to (and I frequent them often!) when I'm looking to spark a little creativity.

So, without further ado, I present to you the top 5 DIY blogs of all time:

3. Matsutake
If you have a passion for DIY & interior design, you NEED to check out this blogger, who's so unbelievably imaginative - she's even been featured on apartment therapy (which, if you've never heard of, is another DIY interior design blog that's definitely worth your time)! You don't have to take my word for it, her work speaks for itself - here are two of my favorites:

4. View Along The Way
This blogger is a jack of all trades, featuring tutorials on decorating, home improvement, thrift store finds, designer knock-offs, and lighting (just to name a few ;)) one of my favorite tutorials falls under the "lighting" category:

DIY Crystal Ball Chandelier
She teaches you how to make this beautiful crystal chandelier pendant light for a fraction of the designer price ($60 vs. &275!)

And last, but not least - the queen of creativity. This blog features TONS of tutorials, including some of the quirkiest, most unusual DIY projects you can imagine! Here's one of my favorites:

The "Why?"

Here's the deal - I love to create. I've always loved to create. There is just something about the feeling of accomplishment you get from making something with your own two hands that cannot be matched. And I'm constantly amazed by the fact that if you have an interest to learn how to do/make/fix something, you can. It's as simple as that.

There are so many resources at the tips of your fingers, it's unbelievable! I cannot tell you how many times I've wanted to learn how to do something and have turned to the Internet for some guidance. The fact the people take the time to post detailed tutorials online in order to help others (like myself) do/make/fix something is truly amazing.

Even more amazing, is that these tutorials often spark further creativity - a new way of looking at/thinking about/doing something. So, instead of just using these resources, I thought it would be nice to contribute a little something of my own.

After all, I believe creativity sparks creativity.
